Pastor Andre D. Clark (widely known as “Shep”) is a devoted husband, father, preacher, teacher, and community leader who has faithfully served as Lead Pastor of New Direction Christian Fellowship on Buffalo’s East Side for more than two decades. Called to preach the Gospel at just 17 years old, Pastor Shep has dedicated his life to developing empowered disciples of Jesus, strengthening families, promoting racial reconciliation, and building unity across denominational and cultural lines.

Known for his “radically relational” approach to ministry, Pastor Shep combines biblical truth with practical teaching that challenges people to grow in both faith and character. His influence extends beyond the pulpit through community advocacy, mentorship, pastoral leadership, and his commitment to seeing Buffalo transformed through the love of Jesus Christ.

He is married to his beloved wife, Jennifer Porter Clark, and is the proud father of two daughters, Delicia and Gabby. At the heart of Pastor Shep’s ministry is a simple but powerful passion: loving God, loving people, building disciples, and leaving the community better than he found it.
